Privacy Policy

GetMotorcycleLicense publishes motorcycle licensing requirements for all 51 US jurisdictions. This page explains what data is collected when you visit, and what is deliberately not.

What we do not collect

It is shorter to start here. This site has:

• No user accounts and no logins.
• No payments, and no payment processor.
• No email capture — there is no newsletter, no gated download, and no lead form.
• No contact form that stores submissions; correspondence is by email only.
• No affiliate links and no sponsored placements.

We therefore hold no accounts, no payment details, and no mailing list. We do not sell, rent or share visitor data, because we do not collect data of that kind in the first place.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 on every page to understand which pages are read and how visitors arrive. It records the usual aggregate signals: pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, referring site, and time on page. Google sets its own cookies to do this. We use it to decide which jurisdictions and topics to cover next — not to identify individuals, and we make no attempt to link this data to a named person.

The site also contains a Meta (Facebook) Pixel integration. It is inactive unless a pixel ID is configured, and no pixel ID is configured at the time of writing, so it does not currently load. It is disclosed here so that this page remains accurate if that changes.

Aside from these third-party scripts, the site sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing in your browser.

Your choices

• Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to stop GA collecting data about your visits to any site.
• Block analytics and advertising scripts with your browser’s tracking protection or an extension. Nothing on this site requires them — every page is static content and works fully with all scripts blocked.
• Clear or block cookies through your browser settings.

Outbound links

Nearly every fact on this site is cited to a state licensing agency, a statute, or a state rider-training program, and those citations are links. Once you follow one you are on that agency’s site, governed by its privacy practices, not ours.

Children

This site is reference material for prospective riders and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes and contact
